In accordance with the Italian Law DL 105 of July 23, 2021, from August 6 2021 on, visitors are kindly requested to exhibit their Green Pass (Covid-19 health certificate) and identity card or passport to be allowed to enter the Museum. The provisions do not apply to children under the age of 12 and to exempt individuals with specific medical certification.

The collection comprises fourteen ceramic vases. Thirteen of them are originals, produced in Apulia and attributed to some of the most important Masters of Italiot ceramography and one is "fake".
Archaeometric analysis of the Ori of Taranto (Gold artefacts from Taranto)
Working in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics and Physics of the University of Salento, chemical and physical analyses were performed on some of the gold artefacts that are part of the Museum’s collection.
