The National Archaeological Museum of Taranto –MArTA– and the other museums of Magna Graecia, the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, the Archaeological Park of Paestum and the National Archaeological Museum of Reggio Calabria are now networking to heal people’s hearts as Italy rolls out measures to curb COVID-19. Their hashtag, #Arteperstarebene or #ArtMakesYouFeelGood, is a take on how medicine was an integral part of culture, traditions and folklore in ancient times, just like it is today. Every day, each museum will showcase an object or a monument on its social media, with the National Archaeological Museum of Taranto picking up the baton on 8 April 2020. Magna Graecia is good heart healing medicine. Culture means health.
