Advice to visitors: the museum reopens

The National Archaeological Museum of Taranto awaits you: it is open to the public.

The ticket can only be purchased online at the link

From Monday to Friday the ticket can be purchased within one hour before the desired visiting time.

On Saturdays, Sundays and all public holidays, the booking and purchase must take place within the day before the visit to the Museum, according to the national regulations in force.

The Museum is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 8.30 to 19.30, the last entry is at 17.30. On Sundays the Museum is open from 9.00 to 13.00 (last entry in the morning at 11.00) and from 15.30 to 19.30, the last entry is at 17.30.

On Mondays the entrance is reserved for groups (each group can consist of a minimum of 3 people to a maximum of 15 people), it is open from 8.30 to 19.30, the last entry is at 17.30.

The COVID-19 virus diffusion containment protocol allows access to a maximum of 15 people every 30 minutes.

The visit to the Museum can last up to 2 hours.
