«Storie dalle acque di Taranto. Persone, mestieri e risorse» e la Mappa di Comunità dei Pescatori del Mar Piccolo, ora disponibili attraverso il download, riassumono i risultati dei Workshop sulle attività tradizionali della pesca, della cantieristica navale, della porpora e del bisso, tenutisi presso il Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Taranto tra ottobre e dicembre 2019, nell’ambito del progetto FISH.&C.H.I.P.S. (Fisheries and Cultural Heritage, Identity and Participated Societies, Co-operation Programme Interreg V-A Greece-Italy (EL-IT) 2014-2020), e hanno come obiettivo quello di raccontare la storia dell’artigianato del mare e il contributo di pescatori, carpentieri, marinai alla costruzione dell’identità culturale di Taranto e della Puglia.

«Stories from Tarantine waters. People, trades and resources» and the Map of the Fishing Community of the Small Sea, now available through download, summarize the results of workshops on traditional activities of fishing, shipbuilding, purpura and fine linen, held at the National Archaeological Museum of Taranto between October and December 2019, as part of the FISH&C.H.I.P.S. project (Fisheries and Cultural Heritage, Identity and Participated Societies, Co-operation Programme Interreg V-A Greece-Italy (EL-IT) 2014-2020), and have as their objective that of tell the story of the craft of the sea and the contribution of fishermen, carpenters, sailors to the construction of the cultural identity of Taranto and Puglia.
