展览《MitoMania：人与半神失而复得的故事》诞生的初衷，是以阿普拉陶器杰作为代表的重要考古文物回归大众，在塔兰托国立考古博物馆进行分享。普利亚大区的盗掘行为让这些文物流失严重，有赖于文化遗产保护宪兵司令部所采取的行动，它们终于重归故土，体现文化传承。

展品目录中所收集的论文，讨论了阿普拉陶器作品以及陶瓷器皿、墓葬品和戏剧之间的关系，以及古物的流通和归还程序。
